Commissioned for three pieces for Edible Toronto:

Edible , a winner of the James Beard Award for ‘Best Publication of the Year, 2011‘, is a magazine based on sustainable food and the farm scene with over 65 chapters across the United States.

Summer Issue, 2011: “A Georgian Meal at Campbell House”
I was invited to represent Edible Toronto for a charity dinner at the Campbell House Museum. This also involved spending a day in the kitchen with the Chef , to observe the meal being prepared in the Georgian manner in candlelight and without any electronic gadgets.

Winter Issue, 2010: “Where The Sun Comes From”
A nostalgic piece about my paternal grandmother and the Persian dishes I create in her memory.

Summer Issue, 2010: “Kheer: A Milky Spoonful Of Home”
A piece about creating the comforting dishes I remembered from my childhood, during the initial days when I moved to Toronto from Rome, as a new bride.
